Bright new software for TV planning
TV Planet is a media planning and media analysis system, which is used for TV campaigns. It is designed for television planners, buyers and broadcasters.
The main advantages of the system are:
- A quick and convenient way to create the best possible TV plans
- Includes an optimiser
- Full integration of all activities involved in planning
- Layout templates allow formatting of outputs with one click
- Can handle the largest databases and processes data in second

Data to be used
TV Planet requires individual viewing data and a transmissions log. This allows any desired target group to be analysed. The transmissions log can be any reasonable format. TV Planet calculates individual probabilities of viewing of commercials or whole programs/time intervals.
Planning
TV Planet provides great flexibility - all the essential components of a planning system are available and may be used in any convenient order. TV Planet spreads GRPs or money between different dayparts. Selected dayparts can be 'locked' to which a pre-determined amount of advertising has been allocated. This can be by an absolute value or as a percentage. Caclulations may be controlled for different regions, different audiences and across weeks. Reach and frequency figures are calculated automatically for defined distribution of GRPs or money between dayparts. A number of plans can be set up simultaneously and compared with each other. TV Planet supports a very flexible definition of dayparts - commercials, program titles or program genres, time intervals, etc. allowing combination by channels or any other attribute. Prices can be set from Rate Cards or just on per GRP base separately for any daypart.
Optimisation
TV Planet provides an automatic procedure for building an optimal plan for set criteria. Schedules can be optimised for defined GRP/Cost maximizing Reach N+ or minimizing GRP/Cost for defined Reach N+. Locked Day Parts reside inside constraints.
Ranking
A single click on the chosen rank criteria is all that is required to produce a ranking. Any media statistic can be used as a rank criterion.
Reach Build Up
Calculates Reach N+ and other statistics for different levels of allocated GRPs. Locked Day Parts reside inside constraints.
Reporting
Flexible reporting module allows analysis of various schedules for different regions, different audiences, along weeks just in one single window. The unique pivoting technique gives different views on all aspects of each schedule.
